Compliance Status

We are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA, upon which the European standard EN 301 549 is based. According to our assessment, this website is largely compliant with these requirements. The reasons are detailed in the "Non-accessible or partially accessible content" section.

What We Have Implemented

The pages are structured with headings and landmarks, specifically header, navigation, main content, and footer. Via the "Skip to content" link, which is the first tab stop on every page, you can go directly to the main content. Anyone navigating the page with a keyboard can clearly see at all times which element is currently selected. Navigation, product galleries, sliders, accordion sections, tabs, and video controls can be operated using the keyboard. Error messages in forms are clearly formulated and communicated to assistive technologies. All images have alternative text, and buttons and icons are labeled in German. We have adjusted text colors, link colors, and input field borders for sufficient contrast. Videos do not start automatically when you navigate through the page with the keyboard or if reduced motion is enabled in your system. YouTube videos are only loaded and started after a click. The website adapts to all screen sizes.

Non-accessible or Partially Accessible Content

For text overlaid on photos, contrast depends on the respective image and may fall below the required ratio of 4.5:1 in individual places (WCAG 1.4.3). Subtitles for embedded YouTube videos are provided by YouTube and may be missing. Background videos play muted and serve a decorative purpose. Documents in the download center (PDF) may not be fully accessible. The cookie banner is provided by a third party whose usability we can only influence to a limited extent.

How This Assessment Was Prepared

This assessment is based on a self-evaluation conducted by Greppmayr GmbH using automated testing tools and manual keyboard testing. An audit by an independent body is still pending. This statement was prepared on October 27, 2026, and will be updated when changes are made to the website.
